Ja Morant's Snakeskin High Tops

On Martin Luther King Day, I was casually watching an NBA game between the Vancouver Memphis Grizzlies and the Phoenix Suns when the spotlight happened to find this Grizzlies player sporting these shoes at the free-throw line:

Apparently, I wasn't the only one who took notice of his Kobe IX High EXT QS 'Snakeskin's.  Here's what Belly Up Sports had to say:

In his first weekend back from an ankle injury, Ja Morant needed the placebo. This pair of bright red boots kicks plays off of the thinnest of accents in Memphis’s throwback uniforms perfectly. The future is bright for a healthy Ja Morant, and his footwear is too.

Later in the weekend, Ja Morant went with the more rugged look in the same sneaker. This snakeskin finish fades away the further you get, and on TV it looked more like a pair of winter work boots.

Work Boots may be more akin to what Ja Morant intended to do. In his high top sneakers, Morant finished with 17 points and 10 assists. Not bad for his second game back from a major ankle injury… maybe there is more than just [a] placebo there?

 Ja Morant is also a sneakerhead as well as a Nike-sponsored athlete.  Check out this article to see what I mean.

Good Nike Air Force 1 Posture

Here is another case of plain shoes made to look decent with a good bodily structure and posture.  See this posting for more examples of how a person makes the shoe.

The Nike Air Force 1's are both trendy for guys & gals, even though to me, this style doesn't "WOW" me.

For me to post another collage set of these shoes must've meant I really thought the posture was worthy of an encore.

Frances Tiafoe: "Say Her Name"

 Here's another tribute to the Black Lives Matter movement by an athlete.  Handwritened is the phrase:  "Say Her Name" in memory of Breonna Taylor on the Nike Zoom Turbo GP.

"Engineered to the exact specifications of championship athletes" is what it says on the diagonal gray strip layering on the shoe in case you can't quite make out its fine print.
