Value Village/Savers Supports Slander - Part 2

Jesse Seeking Revenge:

Refer to Part 1 if you've missed it.

Over the years of dealing with Jesse St. Clair, I know that he's the least focused out of all of the clerks.  He wanders and mingles with customers & staff members alike.  I often notice his immediate supervisors needing to put a leash on him to get him to refocus on his task at hand, more recently, Cathie.  Instead of focusing on his duties, he was more worried about getting back at me for calling him out for his bad attitude towards me the other night (Jan. 29th).

I should also remind you that Jesse knows more about my gym-shoe store-workplace situation than anyone, other than the fake pro.

On March 8th, there were lineups at multiple tills, and he could've alleviated some of the traffic by opening up another till in a timely fashion.  Yet, he decided to walk far away from where he needed to be to check up me while I was photo-shooting this shoe:

Now, direct your attention to the upper left corner of this photo.  Notice the red, size 11 shoe in the background?  Those are the Hoka One One - Cliftons.  Jesse bought those shortly after the January 50% sale.  They were priced at $59.99 at full blast but he still got them at the sale price because of his staff discount...and yes, that is Jesse scrambling back to open up a till.  In the next photo below, Jesse was in much better position to throw me under the bus.

This photo shoot was done on March 9th, just before noon.  Just before I started this photo shoot, I sensed Jesse standing by Cathie at the front window, to the left of the change rooms.  At time, I didn't know what he was doing, nor did I know why he was so "interested" as shown in the pic above.

When I was taking this pic, I was down on the floor, and still in the midst of interacting with the customer, when Cathie stuck her ugly face underneath mine, claiming that the customers are complaining.  You see where my copyright logo is?  That's where she rudely intervened.  I got up and turned towards Cathie:  "So what exactly were they saying about me?"  She replied:  "It's just that customers are complaining." and walked away.  Sounds like something that a vindictive Jesse would say because how come she couldn't tell me what the concern was about?  I stared down towards where the two of them were initially standing, and not surprisingly, Jesse had already walked away.

My Due Diligence:

I came into the store the very next day to ask both the morning and evening crew if they've heard any complaints about me.  The only person who has heard anything negative about me was Melissa, the other floor supervisor.  There's no doubt those were instructions given by Cathie, who was strongly influenced by Jesse...and he knows that I don't think that highly of Cathie as a supervisor to begin with.  The two employee responses that were the strongest indicators that Jesse was lying were:

  1. "I didn't know that you were even doing such thing."
  2. "If there were any customer complaints, we would've heard something about it by now."
Let me tell you something.  I've been interacting with my fellow customers there for 3+ months since resuming my patronage after my 2-year boycott from that store.  So how come the concern was brought to my attention shortly after my resentment towards Jesse?  Surely, they're going to just lie and say the concerns were brought up much earlier than that...but I know that's what they're going to say if they read this and of course, I'm not going to buy into that.

March 10 & 11 were Jesse's days off.  I have been very inactive with my posts leading up to that point and I have not networked with very many Canadians about my blog yet.  My viewership was 0 for a few days.  All of a sudden, I see a surge in Canadian viewership.

My primary audience is based in the U.S..  Therefore, the sudden spike in Canadian viewership was from Jesse and the VV management team, esp. Cathie.  I also noticed a trend that was very disturbing to me.  During Jesse's 2 days off, there was a lone Canadian, and no one else, viewing my blog once every two hours with the very same device.  My suspicion was that he wanted to see if I would give him anything to prepare him for some fictitious excuses for his actions.  I wouldn't give in.  I wanted to leave it in the hands of management, and I've given them every chance to solve this slanderous situation but we all know how that turned out.

Refer to this post that strengthens my claim on Jesse's actions towards me.

Stay tuned for part 3, where I will talk about my scuffle with the store manager, the district manager, and head office.
